The owner behind Proton Glass and one of Albuquerque's most creative local artists, Jason, has been creating stunning glass art (plenty of which are both beautiful and functional) for almost 15 years as of 2023, and is back to bring you another truly one-of-a-kind nature inspired glass dabber.
Introducing to the stage, the Hydnellum Pekii, otherwise and more commonly known as the 'Devil's Tooth', 'Bleeding Tooth Fungus', 'Red-Juice Tooth', 'Bleeding Hydnellum', and 'Strawberries & Cream' mushroom. This hand-crafted functional art piece draws its inspiration from this mushie boi by pulling elements such as the red juice that young Devil's Tooth mushrooms express atop their smooth caps, as well as their natural white, brown, and yellow-ish coloring, which can be observed throughout their life cycles.
The 3.5" Devil's Tooth Dabber is made out of a durable glass material which allows for the application of heat and heated dabbing surfaces without degrading or causing related damage.
The tip of the dabber is tapered to easily pick up smaller quantities of product however, it widens up to allow space for more product should you decide you prefer that.
The glass of this dabber is a smooth material however the cap of the mushroom provides a lip for your fingers to grip. The 'red juice' spots on the mushroom cap add additional texture to increase friction allowing for more traction and less chance of your tool slipping out of your hand, not to mention, the three-dimensional texturized spots keep your tool from rolling off of flat surfaces, decreasing accidental drops off tables, desks, night-stands and counters.
To use this dab tool:
Holding the mushroom end, collect your product with the opposite end
Set aside while you heat your dab nail to an appropriate temp
Once your dab nail is hot, begin to press your product against the heated surface of your dab nail
Press your lips to the mouthpiece of your dab rig and inhale
Enjoy
Stay Woke recommends dab tools be placed on/in heat-resistant surfaces/items while in use to avoid burns
To clean this dab tool, it is acceptable to use soap and warm water, alcohol, and heat.
